Tetonwana Lodge Annual Banquet & Lodge Elections

The 2009 Annual Lodge Banquet, hosted by the Arikira Chapter, was held at the Trinity Lutheran Churchi in Mitchell.
This years banquet was attended by 62 Arrowmen from around the Sioux Council.
A number of Arrowmen arrived Friday evening where they overnighted; enjoyed fellowship, games, movies, and food - including the traditional keg of rootbeer.
Saturday there was breakfast in the moring, along with various training sessions which included "Trail to Brotherhood", "Unit Elections", "Ceremonies Training", Elangomat/Nimat Training", "Chapter Leadership", and "The Troop Representative".
In the afternoon there was a Lodge Meeting, and then Arrowmen had some free time Saturday afternoon to visit Cabela's outdoor store or to visit a couple museums in the community of Mitchell.
Later in the day there was a Campership Patch design contest, silent auction with many collectable patches, the annual Walking Stick auction (which was won by Arikira Chapter, who paid $365, which goes toward the campership patch program).
Also in the afternoon was the annual election of Lodge officers, who will serve for the next year.
Finally in the evening there was the banquet, where this year's new Vigil members were recognized; as where the outgoing lodge officers. Finally, the new officers where sworn in.
Despite near blizzard conditions, the Annual Banquet and Lodge Elections went off without a hitch, and everyone made it home safely.
